St James', Bondleigh

St James' is a beautiful medieval church recently updated with kitchen facilities, and a new heating system. It is the only public building in the parish.

The church is kept unlocked during daylight hours.

 

Normal Sunday services throughout the month:

 

1st Sunday

9.30pm Parish Communion (Prayer Book, traditional)

3rd Sunday

9.30am Parish Communion (Prayer Book, traditional)

Special services for Harvest and St James’ Patronal.

​

The church is situated in the higher part of the village above the River Taw (post code: EX20 2AN) just off the A3124 three miles north of North Tawton.
