About Us
As a lively bible-teaching Anglican church we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds, whether you are used to going to church or not.
We seek to be a community of Christians serving each other and the needs of the town, parish and surrounding countryside.
We meet every Sunday morning at 11am for worship, Bible-teaching, prayer and communion (twice a month). There is always provision for children and youth during our services. Sunday Club and Rooted meets every Sunday service during term time and we have a monthly all-age Family Service.
We also run fortnightly home groups, and frequent courses such as Christianity Explored, Life Explored, Alpha, Discipleship Explored and most recently, Hope Explored and Parenting for Faith.
In the last 10 years the St Peter’s Troupers have staged several musicals in the church - Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Another Story Begins, Oliver and in 2019, Jesus Christ Superstar.
