A praying church is a growing church

Prayer is central to all we do at St Peter’s and a key part of our services. Members of the congregation are encouraged to lead the church in prayer.

Prayer is also central to our Home Groups and we see these groups as places where we can pray together and for each other in more depth, while praying for the needs of our church and the wider community.

North Tawton Prayer Meeting

A primary place of prayer is the North Tawton Prayer Meeting which meets every five to six weeks in one of the churches in the town. This is a key area of work that we seek to do with our brothers and sisters at Lakeway United Church and North Street Chapel. We meet on Mondays at 7.30pm until 9.30pm. Please see the notice sheet on this website or in church for the date of the next meeting.
